Founded in 2004 by Genevieve Dellinger, Hazel Cox and Rachael Allen. The space was originally conceived as a studio and gallery space and evolved into a boutique specializing in original wearble works for men and women with focus on accessories by Hazel Cox and clothing by Genevieve Dellinger. Denwave carried small one of a kind production lines, as well as national and international small brands.

Denwave was approached as much as a boutique experience as an ongoing installation project. Favorite shop fixture features were heavy iron chains salvaged from a shipyard hanging outside the shop paired with the massive timber that had washed ashore on Manzanita Beach on the Oregon Coast. The timber was routed with a custom Denwave font designed by Ginger Jones. Inside, galvanized metal platforms were suspended from the rafters with 1.5" jute rope, and live sawn Myrtle boards were cut for shelving, also suspended from the ceiling. A 10' long shelf upholstered in camel wool and electric yellow leather ran along one wall for jewelry display, and translucent smoked acrylic shelves floated across 3 walls for small objects. Fixtures were all conceived, designed and installed by Genevieve Dellinger and Hazel Cox.

Denwave permanently closed in March 2008.
