WIEDEN + KENNEDY NEST PROJECT
A partnership with Intelligent Design and JA Felt.
Denwave team (Genevieve Dellinger, Hazel Cox, Ginger Jones) were commissioned to help visualize and create a seating element within the permanent installation by artist Patrick Dougherty. The freeform, felt covered couch was carved from all natural high density foam and designed to incorporate organic and natural elements responding to the woven willow walls of the room, commonly known as The Nest, inside the Wieden + Kennedy building in Portland, Oregon. The room was finished with mid-century modern pieces, custom hand blown lighting fixtures by Esque Studio and felt floor tiles.
The room was featured in Interior Design Magazine in August 2007.
